Canva is seeking an AI Quality Evaluator for Spanish to join our team in Madrid on a 12-month contract. You will label and evaluate content in Spanish, ensure linguistic quality, and contribute to Spanish-language datasets for Canva AI features.

Collaborate with global teams to maintain high-quality language experiences. Ideal candidates are native Spanish speakers with strong English, detail-oriented, self-directed, and curious about AI.

Responsabilidades

• Label, annotate, and evaluate photos, graphics, videos, stickers, and designs in Spanish for linguistic quality and cultural appropriateness.
• Evaluate AI-generated content against Canva's quality bar for Spanish users.
• Build and contribute to Spanish-specific datasets to support Canva AI features.
• Deliver labelled assets on time and meet output targets across tasks and guidelines.
• Review and refine your labels based on feedback to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with Data Labelling teams across the Philippines and EU for quality alignment.

While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we're focusing on Madrid, Spain so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.

This role is a 12-month engagement, working full-time hours.

What you'd be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve. At the moment, this role is focused on:

• Labelling, annotating, and evaluating photos, graphics, videos, stickers, and designs in Spanish — assessing linguistic quality, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness
• Evaluating AI-generated content against Canva's quality bar for Spanish users, helping shape how AI experiences land in your language
• Building and contributing to Spanish-specific datasets to support the internationalisation of Canva AI features
• Delivering labelled assets on time, meeting output targets across a variety of task types and labelling guidelines
• Reviewing and refining your own labels based on feedback to maintain accuracy and consistency
• Collaborating with in-house Data Labelling teams across the Philippines and EU for ongoing quality alignment

• You're a native Spanish speaker with strong written and spoken English — you can move fluidly between both languages with confidence

About the team

Canva's Localisation team sits within the International Supergroup and is responsible for bringing Canva's product and AI experiences to users in their language, across the world. With international users representing almost 60% of Canva's user base, localisation is a core strategic priority. We partner closely with the CORE Research and AI Platform teams to deliver in-language AI evaluations, dataset creation, and quality assurance across Canva's pioneer markets.
