Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY SPAIN, S.A.U. is seeking a senior AI prompt engineer in Madrid to develop, test and optimize prompts for LLM-based applications across HV use cases.

You will translate complex HV product knowledge into structured prompts and AI workflows, designing multi-step prompting strategies to ensure accuracy and context awareness. Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Pricing and Sales to embed AI assistants into core processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering with strong AI exposure.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in AI/Data/Software Engineering with GenAI.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize advanced prompts for LLM-based applications in HV use cases.
• Translate high voltage product knowledge into structured prompts, guardrails, and AI workflows.
• Design multi-step prompting strategies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and context awareness.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Pricing, and Sales to embed AI assistants into business processes.
