Ferrovial invites applications for an internship to join the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence within the Digital Hub in Madrid. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Data Scientists, and AI Engineers to develop and adapt AI models addressing real business challenges and building digital products.

The ideal candidate is curious, quick to learn, and eager to contribute to AI solutions across Construction, Highways, Airports, Energy, Digital Infrastructures, and/or Headquarters.

Formación

• University degree: Higher Engineering (Industrial, Civil, Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar) or Mathematics/Physics with a focus on AI. Economics.
• Excellent communication and writing skills. High level of English (minimum C1)
• Proactive, with a strong sense of commitment, teamwork, cooperation, and continuous self-improvement. Problem-solving mindset, with a high level of autonomy and goal orientation and solving complex problems
• Strong stakeholder management skills; including making technical information simple, accessible and insightful for technology and non-technology decision makers
• Project and time management skills with an ability to set and maintain priorities in a multi-task environment.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365
• Basic understanding of Microsoft AI ecosystem (Copilot 365, Copilot Studio, Agent 365, Azure AI, etc.)
• Desirable Knowledge in key AI techniques and tools, especially Microsoft Copilot Studio.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the portfolio of artificial intelligence projects across al business lines, collaborating with technical teams to ensure AI models deliver the greatest impact and are ultimately integrated into scalable business products.
• Develop, implement, and monitor frameworks for measuring impact, objectives, and results, including the tracking, calculation, and reporting of operational indicators (KPIs), project progress indicators and other relevant metrics.
• Create visually compelling, impact-driven presentations for senior leadership forums (Boards, ExComms, Monthly CEOs meetings, etc.) and external events, focused on communicating the need to transform the organization and showcasing progress
• Design, build and execute an AI Program Communications Strategy to ensure a consistent and powerful message in the Technology and Innovation area positioning the AI strategy and program both internally and externally (employees, businesses, corporate areas, analysts, and external forums). Identify communication-worthy milestones and draft news articles and written communication pieces for Ferrovial’s internal communication channels.
• Support the Digital Change Management team for improved adoption and training plans of AI technology

Job Description:

About the role

We are looking for an intern to join our Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence within the Digital Hub. As part of the team, we are seeking someone who is curious, eager to learn, and naturally interested in how AI can support our business areas (Construction, Highways, Airports, Energy, Digital Infrastructures and/or Headquarters).

The selected candidate will join our team of Project Managers, and will work Data Scientists and AI Engineers, contributing to the development and adaptation of AI models to solve real business challenges and build digital products. As such, you will have the opportunity to participate and oversee projects involving AI Agents and Generative AI, AI Training Plans, AI Value Realization and overall AI Strategy within the Ferrovial.

The ideal candidate should have a strong capacity for learning, be results-oriented, and possess solid teamwork skills.
