Product Manager – Marketplace & AI Operations

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is looking for a Product Manager – Marketplace & AI Operations to join a fast-growing European technology company building an AI-powered workforce platform for the healthcare sector.

The company's core marketplace enables hospitals and healthcare organizations to cover workforce needs through verified professionals, while AI already supports operational workflows such as matching, shift recommendations, support automation, and candidate interactions.

About the Role

You will own a core multi-sided marketplace product end to end, working closely with company leadership and the marketplace business team.

This is a hands‑on product role focused on outcomes rather than delivery management. You will work directly with users and enterprise customers, understand marketplace dynamics in depth, and design product and AI‑driven solutions that reduce manual coordination across operational workflows.

The ideal candidate has already built and deployed AI agents in real production environments and understands how to use automation responsibly within operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a core marketplace product end to end, from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Work directly with healthcare professionals, enterprise customers, and internal operational teams.
• Analyze supply, demand, liquidity, matching, incentives, and trust across a multi‑side marketplace.
• Identify operational workflows that can be improved or automated through AI.
• Design and deploy AI agents that reduce manual coordination and improve marketplace efficiency.

• Partner closely with engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Conduct direct user research and field visits when needed.
• Measure product performance and continuously improve marketplace outcomes.
• Operate with high autonomy in a small, founder‑led product organization.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of Product Management experience working on marketplaces, platforms, or multi‑sided products.
• Strong understanding of marketplace concepts including supply, demand, liquidity, matching, incentives, and trust.
• Hands‑on experience building and deploying AI agents into real operational workflows.
• Experience working directly and regularly with users and enterprise customers.
• Comfort conducting field research and translating operational problems into product solutions.
• Ability to own outcomes rather than simply manage tickets, roadmaps, or delivery processes.
• Strong analytical and product judgment.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, fast‑moving organization with significant ownership.
• Fluent Spanish.

Particularly Relevant Experience

• Marketplaces involving supply‑and‑demand matching.
• Workforce, staffing, mobility, delivery, logistics, or similar operational platforms.
• AI agents used to automate real business processes.
• Products involving scheduling, matching, incentives, or operational coordination.
• High‑growth technology companies with small product teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

This role is best suited to a product leader who wants to stay close to users, data, engineering, and operational reality.

You should be comfortable making product decisions directly, testing them with users, and measuring their impact rather than operating primarily as a project coordinator or delivery manager.

Practical AI experience is important. The company is specifically looking for someone who has already put AI agents into production workflows and can discuss what worked, what failed, and how human oversight and product safeguards were handled.

Compensation

• Base salary between €70,000 and €100,000 gross annually, depending on experience.
• Equity participation.

Work Arrangement

This opportunity is based in Barcelona, Spain.

The exact on‑site versus hybrid working arrangement is still being confirmed. Candidates should therefore consider this a Barcelona‑based role rather than a remote‑first opportunity.
