Job summary

Fynity Limited in Barcelona is seeking an AI & Process Automation Solution Architect to shape how AI and automation are applied across the business. The role offers a hybrid setup with up to 80% remote work and 20% in the office.

You will translate business needs into scalable technical designs, evaluate approaches across Power Platform, Copilot Studio and Python, and guide delivery teams through implementation.

AI & Process Automation – Solution Architect

Barcelona | Hybrid – up to 80% remote

Up to €65,000 + 10% bonus

I’m working with one of Europe’s leading Financial Services organisations that is looking for someone with strong AI and automation architecture skills to help shape how these technologies are used across the business.

Based in Barcelona, the role offers a flexible hybrid model, with up to 80% remote working and 20% of each month in the office.

This would suit someone who enjoys understanding business challenges, translating requirements into technical designs and guiding how solutions are delivered. You’ll bring the technical depth to assess different approaches, alongside the communication skills to work closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams.

As the AI/Process Automation Architect, you will :

• Working with the business to understand processes and identify where AI and automation can add value.
• Designing scalable solutions that connect business processes, applications and enterprise data.
• Selecting the right approach across Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Python, AI/LLM integrations and agent-based automation.
• Defining how APIs, connectors and data flows fit into the wider architecture.
• Developing reusable automation patterns and frameworks that other teams can adopt.
• Guiding delivery teams through implementation, helping ensure solutions follow the agreed design.
• Building governance, auditability and responsible AI into solutions from the outset.
• Helping teams adopt automation and low-code technologies safely and consistently.

To secure this AI & Process Automation role

You’ll have experience designing AI or automation solutions in an enterprise environment, with the ability to take a business requirement through to a clear, practical technical design.

A strong understanding of integration, scalability, security and governance will be important, along with familiarity with technologies such as Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Python and AI/LLM services. You should also understand how CI/CD, version control and configuration-as-code support reliable delivery.

You’ll be comfortable discussing technical options, explaining the trade-offs and helping stakeholders make informed decisions. Practical delivery experience will be valuable, with the main focus on architecture, solution design and technical guidance.

It’s a good opportunity for someone who wants to influence how AI and automation are adopted across a large organisation, working with both the business and technical teams to turn ideas into solutions that can be used more widely.

This is a European business with teams across multiple countries. English is the main working language, so you’ll need to be comfortable communicating and working professionally in English.
