Job summary

Kyndryl is hiring Platform Engineers to design and build self-service developer platforms across multi-technology environments. The role centers on Harness as the delivery backbone and extends to Kubernetes, Terraform, observability, and policy-as-code.

You will own golden paths to replace ticket-driven ops with platform APIs, drive faster time-to-market, and standardize how engineering teams ship software. Bilingual English/Spanish required in a professional setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles with hands-on Harness production experience.
• Strong cloud-native background: Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and one major cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Software engineering in Go, Python, or TypeScript; comfortable producing production code.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Internal Developer Platforms using Harness as the core: pipelines, environments, feature flags, deployment automation, SBOM and policy enforcement, cost guardrails.
• Create golden paths and reusable templates covering source to deploy with observability.
• Integrate platforms with Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub/GitLab, Nexus/Artifactory, SAST/SCA, and observability stacks.
• Lead agentic AI rollout at scale: runtimes in Harness, MCP tool integrations, guardrails and human-in-the-loop checks.
• Define platform contracts, SLOs, adoption metrics; treat the platform as a product with real users.
• Mentor application teams and reduce friction between Dev, Ops, and Security.
