SENSIA Solutions is a leading company in the infrared imaging market, based in Spain, seeking an experienced Computer Vision/AI Engineer. You will design and deploy AI-driven image analysis solutions, train models, and optimize real-time vision pipelines using C++ and Python.

The role offers a hybrid work model with a permanent contract and opportunities to work on diverse industrial applications, including gas detection and flame detection. English proficiency required.

Formación

• Proven experience in Computer Vision, Image Processing and AI applied to real-world problems.
• Hands-on experience deploying deep learning models for vision-based applications.
• Experience with image pre-processing and post-processing in production pipelines.
• Experience in performance optimization and efficient AI/image processing implementations.
• Academic or industry background combining research and production-level software development.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain CV and AI-based solutions for image/video analysis.
• Train, validate and optimize deep learning models (CNNs, Transformers).
• Implement image pre-processing and post-processing pipelines to improve robustness.
• Develop and optimize image processing algorithms using OpenCV.

SENSIA Solutions is a leading company in the infrared (IR) imaging market that designs, manufactures and sells AI-based cameras mainly for gas detection and quantification and flame detection. Our technology covers industrial, environmental, safety and security applications.

• Design, develop and maintain Computer Vision and AI-based solutions for image and video analysis applications.
• Develop, train, validate and optimize deep learning models, including CNNs, Transformers and other state-of-the‑art architectures for detection, classification, segmentation and tracking tasks.
• Implement image pre-processing and post-processing pipelines to improve model robustness and overall system performance.
• Develop and optimize image processing algorithms using libraries such as OpenCV for feature extraction, filtering, enhancement, geometric transformations and analytical processing.
• Integrate AI models into production environments, ensuring efficient inference, scalability and maintainability.
• Develop software components in C++ for high-performance image processing and real‑time systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements, validate results and deploy solutions into real‑world applications.

Profile we are looking for

Experience

• Proven experience in Computer Vision, Image Processing and Artificial Intelligence applied to real‑world problems.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying deep learning models for vision‑based applications.
• Experience with image pre-processing and post-processing techniques in production pipelines.
• Experience in performance optimization and efficient implementation of AI/image processing solutions.
• Experience working with both research-oriented prototyping and production-level software development is highly valued.
• Experience in real‑time or near real‑time systems is a plus.
• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics or a
• related technical field.
• MSc or specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Machine Learning or
• Image Processing is a plus.

Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Computer Vision and Digital Image Processing fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of Deep Learning and modern architectures such as CNNs, Transformers and related computer vision models.
• Knowledge of model training, validation, evaluation metrics, hyperparameter tuning and dataset preparation.
• Good understanding of image enhancement, filtering, segmentation, feature extraction, object detection and tracking techniques.
• Knowledge of inference optimization and model deployment workflows.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, code modularity, version control and maintainable development.

Work tools

• Python for AI development, model training, experimentation and data analysis.
• C++ for performance-critical modules and image processing pipelines.
• OpenCV for image and video processing.
• Deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Experience with inference/deployment tools such as TensorRT, ONNX Runtime or similar engines.
• Familiarity with Git, debugging tools and development environments for Linux and/or Windows.
• Experience with GPU-based development and acceleration is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in technical environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate research ideas into robust and maintainable production solutions.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and explore new technologies.

Languages:

English: Professional working proficiency (minimum level recommended: B2)
