Job summary

Magellan Partners is seeking a Web Development & DevOps Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications in a consulting setting. You will work across frontend (Angular/TypeScript/HTML/CSS) and backend (Node.js/Java/Spring Boot) stacks, with databases like SQL Server and MongoDB, and integrate Gemini CLI AI tools.

You will industrialize development and deployments via CI/CD with GitLab, containerize with Docker, and deploy to Kubernetes/GCP.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in computer science or software engineering.
• 3 to 8 years of professional experience in software development, web engineering, DevOps, or a similar environment.
• Significant experience in designing and developing web applications.
• Proven experience in industrializing development and deployment processes.
• Experience within a consulting context or working directly with clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust, secure web applications.
• Automate build, test, deployment, and delivery processes with CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
• Containerize applications and deploy in Kubernetes; manage cloud environments.
• Integrate AI tools (Gemini CLI) into daily development practices.
• Collaborate with product teams and agile teams; promote DevOps practices and AI best practices.
