Job summary

Allianz Technology SE is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to act as the technical core of a squad, translating business problems into production AI solutions across backend, frontend, data and ops.

You will reuse building blocks, design custom services, and own deployments from development to production while ensuring security, compliance and documentation. Fluency in English is required and a hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Shipping production code across backend, frontend, data and ops.
• Comfort working in unfamiliar codebases and partner environments.
• Experience with cloud-native stacks, DevOps, testing and secure coding.
• Proficient with Python, APIs, vector databases and LLM/agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Integrate with local/global domain experts to translate problems into production AI solutions.
• Reuse or extend building blocks to design custom services and integrations.
• Ship solutions across stacks and own path from development to production.
• Ensure security, compliance, CI/CD, containers and IaaC as needed.
• Document, operationalize and scale by contributing patterns back to the catalog.
