A leading multinational company is seeking an experienced Aftersales Material Planning Manager for a remote position based in Madrid, Spain. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for ensuring material availability in aftersales while managing supplier schedules and inventory. Aftersales Material Planning Manager :
Lead and develop team responsible for forecasting and securing material availability for HVB aftersales (modules, packs), ensuring accurate demand planning aligned with market needs and reman programs.
Oversee and guide the team in managing supplier schedules, tracking delivery performance, and escalating issues to prevent disruptions in aftersales-critical parts.
Work closely with Quality and Engineering to manage part changes, supersessions, replacements, and technical constraints impacting service continuity.
Monitor and optimize inventory levels, prevent backorders, shortages, and obsolescence while ensuring high service levels and optimal stock coverage.
Identify bottlenecks and lead cross-functional crisis resolution, coordinating rapid recovery plans with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, and Customer Service.
Communicate risks, priorities, and mitigation actions clearly to regional teams and internal stakeholders, ensuring visibility and alignment across the organization.
Report key KPIs, risks, and strategic updates directly to high leadership (VP level).
Proven experience leading and developing teams in high-demand operational environments.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and regions.
Fluent English is mandatory
