Job summary

International Schools Partnership is seeking a dedicated cleaning staff member to maintain a clean, safe learning environment across campus. You will perform routine floor care, surface cleaning, restroom sanitation, and high-touch area disinfection, with opportunities for deep-cleaning during scheduled tasks.

Collaboration with school staff is essential to meet daily priorities. Experience in school or childcare cleaning is preferred; no formal education required, basic literacy helpful.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; basic literacy and numeracy helpful.
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, especially in school or childcare environments.
• Commitment to safety and following hygiene protocols.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning tasks: sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, windowsills, and fixtures.
• Empty and sanitize waste bins and replace liners.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and restroom fixtures; replenish supplies.
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly to prevent germ spread.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled (carpets, windows, floor stripping/waxing).
• Handle spills promptly and safely; report maintenance needs promptly.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies; use equipment properly and report malfunctions.
• Follow PPE requirements and safety protocols; maintain organized storage areas.
