Airbus in Getafe, Spain is offering a Discover II 2026/2027 internship in the Airframe Structural Design area within the Airbus Defense Derivatives programmes. The 11‑month, full‑time internship begins in early October 2026 and includes an attractive study grant as you learn CAD/CAM design and product lifecycle processes.

You will work with several departments and gain hands‑on experience across planning, design, quotation and configuration management, while developing skills in aerospace

Formación

• Enrolled in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Interest in aerospace sector, especially structural design.
• Good knowledge of Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, capable of working independently or in a team.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google tools.
• Available for internship during the 2026/2027 period.

Responsabilidades

• Support detailed design activities for the current Airbus Derivatives programme, including metallic and composite parts.
• Contribute to planning, design, quotation and configuration management of an A/C aerostructures.
• Apply innovative solutions or automation to internal processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with departments such as Stress, Systems, Analysis, Manufacturing, Materials & Processes, Aerodynamic, Loads, and more.
