Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Quality and Configuration Management Engineer to join the Quality & Product Assurance Team. The role focuses on ensuring conformity, regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction across the aircraft life-cycle.

The position acts as the focal point between internal departments and authorities, supporting DOA/POA/MOA processes, change control, and lifecycle data management while driving QMS improvements in a multinational environment.

Formación

• Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management Systems (QMS), or Configuration Management within the aerospace/defense industry.
• Strong communication skills across cross-functional teams and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Advanced English; Spanish valued.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the main focal point within the Quality organization, safeguarding conformity and customer requirements.
• Manage relationships with civil/military authorities and ensure approvals (DOA, POA, MOA).
• Support Change Control Process and Configuration Baseline evolution; evaluate requirements and manage data changes.
• Develop and maintain Quality Methods and instructions within the QMS and drive process improvements.
