Amazon EU SARL (Spain Branch) in Madrid or Barcelona seeks an ACES Manager to drive EU STEP initiatives in Supply Chain, Transportation Planning & Operational Excellence. You will lead programs improving AMZL, ATS, and CF processes and technologies, partnering with delivery networks and operations to scale services and deliver results for customers.

You will translate complex business problems into scalable improvements, influence senior leaders, and guide cross-functional teams across Europe

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics or Business Administration.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing and reading).
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data/metrics to determine improvements.
  • Experience in program or project management.

Responsabilidades

This role can be based either in Barcelona or Madrid.

Amazon Transportation is one of the largest parcel carriers in the world. This requires a robust process that fully leverages delivery station and driver capacities to accomplish the scale necessary to deliver a world class customer experience.

The EU STEP (Supply Chain, Transportation Planning & Operational Excellence) ACES Manager is responsible for delivering performance improvements through their programs. This role will involve leading programs designed to improve AMZL, ATS, and/or CF processes and technologies to scale new businesses. We are accountable for influencing business-critical decisions that enable scale and deliver consistent, industry leading performance within our Amazon Transportation business. We will raise the bar on customer experience while lowering costs and supporting growth.

In this role, you will heavily focus on leading program improvements and initiatives, working in close collaboration with delivery partners, support teams, and operators, piloting new methods and processes across EU operations, leading the way in developing the future of our delivery and pick up services.

To be successful in this role you will need to have proven development skills, analytical, able to translate business problems into scalable and tangible process improvements and an influencer capable of working effectively with senior leadership across multiple organizations and geographies. You will also need to be a self-starter, proven program leader, communicator and problem solver. You will work with cross-functional teams on complex logistics problems, deal with ambiguity and advocate on behalf of the customer.

About the team

The EU STEP (Supply Chain, Transportation Planning & Operational Excellence) ACES Manager team is responsible for delivering performance improvements through the Amazon Supply Chain and Transportation.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics or Business Administration
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Experience in program or project management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams, including operations
  • Experience in transportation or supply chain
