Una empresa internacional de vacaciones busca un asistente contable en Marbella. El candidato ideal deberá tener un diploma en economía o administración y experiencia contable reciente. Se valoran habilidades comunicativas en español, organización y trabajo en equipo. El puesto incluye la asistencia en tareas contables y la interacción con el personal y clientes. Formación

  • Experiencia contable previa de al menos 2 años o formación correspondiente.
  • Conocimientos básicos de inglés son preferidos.

Responsabilidades

  • Realizar tareas contables rutinarias en un entorno de control.
  • Asistir al director financiero y preparar informes.
  • Interactuar con proveedores, clientes y personal del resort.

JOB DESCRIPTION

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform all routing accounting tasks in a strong control environment.
  • Assist Director of Finance, Accounting manager and Senior Accounting clerk with the preparation of reports.
  • Assist Auditors when required.
  • Interact with vendors, customers and Resort staff.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to : Director of Finance, Accounting Manager and Sr. Accounting Clerk

Supervises : N / A

Interfaces : Resort Managers, Front Desk staff, Night Audit staff, F&B supervisors, London Accounting

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
GENERAL ACCOUNTING

Perform daily uniform accounting procedures for recurring and routine transactions for his / her assigned area(s) such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income accounting, Fixed Asset accounting, General cashiering etc. Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations and with Profit & Loss statements preparation. Assist Senior Accounting Clerk and Assistant Controller with Month end closing. Works according to Spanish laws and regulations for Accounting. Prepare all data for the product cost for each month Perform a control of what it is prorelease.

REPORTING

Assists with period close, analyzing pre-close results and required adjustments. Assists with tax reporting to local authorities. Assists with the preparation of periodic reports showing key results. Assists in preparing site specific reports as required.

INTERNAL CONTROLS

Assists Financial Controller to assure compliance with established policies and procedures. Perform work according to procedures and policies to ensure maximal effectiveness and efficiency. Assists Financial Controller to ensure adherence to controls over inventories, other assets, incentives, procurements, payables, and receivables. Reports any noted abnormalities and / or failure to comply to policies and procedures to Financial Controller.

  • Assist in other areas of the accounting department as and where required.
  • Perform other duties as required to meet the needs of the department or as instructed by Management.
  • Be punctual and wear the name tag and professional dress at all times during working hours.
  • Perform all tasks in a timely manner ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
  • Comply with MVW policies and procedures.
  • Be proactive and have a flexible approach to work, meeting the needs of the team and the business at all times.
  • Maintain an attitude and commitment to provide excellent service to all customers and associates. Respond sensitively to the needs and feelings of others, regardless of status or position; accept interpersonal differences and maintain a constructive rapport with all associates and customers.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all Marriott product lines.
  • Maintain computer systems knowledge (Excel, e-mail etc)
  • Work with all MVW colleagues as a team, supporting the needs within that team and those of the business at all times.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Within the last 2 years, High School diploma (Economics or Business Administration), FP2 in administration or last 2 years with accounting experience.
  • Good communication skills in Spanish and basic knowledge of English.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Team Player.
  • Knowledge of Opera and excel is a must.
