A global technology and services leader in Barcelona is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their dynamic finance team. In this full-time role, you will handle key accounting processes, work with international clients, and ensure tax compliance. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in accounting, is proficient in Spanish and has advanced English skills (B2+). Full paid training and a stable contract under Spanish labor law are provided.

Formación

Responsabilidades

  • Record and classify transactions in the general ledger.
  • Reconcile bank, customer, and supplier accounts.
  • Manage invoicing, collections, and ensure tax compliance.
  • Support audits and prepare financial reports.
  • Monitor inventories and fixed assets.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Overview

Workster is partnering with a fast-growing global technology and services leader to hire an Accounting Specialist in Barcelona. Responsibilities
  • Record and classify transactions in the general ledger (income, expenses, assets, liabilities)
  • Reconcile bank, customer, and supplier accounts
  • Manage invoicing, collections, and payments while ensuring VAT and tax compliance
  • Support audits and prepare internal financial reports and forecasts
  • Monitor inventories and fixed assets, posting entries and adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Qualifications
  • Proficient Spanish and advanced English (B2+)
  • ~2–3 years of accounting experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency; ERP / accounting software experience is a plus

  • Full-time role: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00
