Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile is seeking an Accountant Trainee to support the Finance team in maintaining accurate accounting records and gaining hands-on experience across core processes. You will handle supplier invoices, VAT coding for AEAT, and asset depreciation under the guidance of a Senior Accountant.

Ideal candidates have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, are fluent in Spanish and English, and can commit to 30–40 hours per week.

Formación

• University agreement (convenio universitario) is required for this position.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles incl. double-entry bookkeeping and accruals.
• Comfortable recording routine accounting transactions and journal entries.
• Willingness to work within a multinational finance team in a tech company.

Responsabilidades

• Support day-to-day general accounting activities focused on processing supplier invoices.
• Ensure correct VAT treatment and coding for AEAT tax reporting.
• Record and maintain fixed assets, including monthly depreciation calculations.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Participate in monthly reporting, analyzing operating expenses and invoices.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure timely financial information.

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Accountant Trainee will support the Finance team in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's accounting records while gaining hands‑on experience across key accounting processes.

What We're Looking For

* A university agreement (convenio universitario) is required for this position

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding or interest in learning fundamental accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping, accruals, prudence, and other core accounting concepts.

They should be comfortable recording routine accounting transactions and preparing journal entries accurately and confidently.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accountant Trainee, you will:

• Support the day-to-day general accounting activities of the company, with a primary focus on processing and recording supplier invoices.
• Ensure the correct VAT treatment and coding of invoices to support accurate tax reporting and compliance with the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT).
• Record and maintain fixed assets within the asset management module, ensuring monthly depreciation calculations are accurate and properly reflected in the accounts.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies identified.
• Participate in the monthly reporting process, including the preparation and analysis of operating expenses and sales invoices.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
