Account Representative – EST Barcelona, Accounts Operations, In office, Full-time.

We are a growing team looking for an Account Representative in the Accounts Operations department to help us revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Barcelona office.

What you will do

As Account Representative you\'ll work on responsibilities such as managing and growing existing accounts by bringing forth new services, expanding existing services, with a focus on increasing efficiency, adding value, and maximizing profitability through the account\'s supply chain. You will work on-site with your peers five days a week, fostering creativity and producing impactful results through face-to-face interactions.

  • Maintaining and growing the existing customer portfolio.
  • Consistently executing daily business (receiving orders, data entry, informing customer about shipment status, etc.).
  • Establishing relationships with day-to-day contacts.
  • Selling and negotiating at a transactional level.
  • Identifying new opportunities with current customers outside the existing scope.
  • Establishing and proactively maintaining relationships with management level contacts both inside and outside your organization.
  • Gathering, analysing, and preparing relevant information for business reviews and being an active participant.
  • Following up the status of your customers\' transport operations.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor\'s degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in an account management or commercial role, preferably within the logistics field.
  • Excellent English and Spanish verbal & written communication skills.
  • Additional European languages are an asset, especially French.
  • Energy and willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results.
  • Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others.
