We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to oversee and grow our customer base in the plastics sector across Catalonia and Aragon. This role focuses on managing existing business relationships and developing new opportunities for Calcium Carbonate (CaCO₃) and distribution products. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, technical understanding of plastic applications, and a passion for customer success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers in the plastics industry.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting new clients and expanding product penetration.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Product Promotion: Promote CaCO₃ and distribution products, providing technical and commercial support.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (technical service, supply chain, marketing) to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales or account management, ideally in the plastics or chemical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of plastic processing and additives (CaCO₃ experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan.
