Mott MacDonald is seeking Civil, Structural, and Geotechnical Engineering Graduates to join our Energy sector within Transmission and Distribution across Madrid, Barcelona and Seville offices. You will gain hands-on experience in FEED, detailed design, and geotechnical work, supported by a mentor as part of Accelerating your Future three-year programme.

Formación

• Degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Less than 12 months of relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Graduate Civil and Structural: FEED and Detailed Design phases, feasibility studies, structural design and site visits.
• Graduate Geotechnical: desk studies, ground investigations, digital data modelling, and geotechnical design across foundations, slopes, earthworks, and environmental geotechnics.

We are looking for Civil, Structural Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering Graduates to join our Energy sector within Transmission and Distruibution and play a key role in designing and delivering the infrastructure that powers the transition to Net Zero. With the growing demand for renewable energy, your work will help ensure clean energy reaches homes, businesses, and even international markets through interconnectors to Europe.

As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer you’ll be working alongside over 600 ground engineering professionals. You'll gain hands‑on experience, and your work will span desk studies, ground investigations, digital data modelling, and geotechnical design. You’ll be contributing to innovative, sustainable solutions across a wide range of specialisms including foundations, slopes, earthworks, and environmental geotechnics.

Whilst as a Graduate Civil and Strucutural Engineer you will be involved in the design of critical infrastructure that supports the transmission of low‑carbon energy, your work will span: Front‑End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Design phases, Feasibility studies, structural design and site visits.

We have opportunities based in any of our Madrid, Barcelona and Seville offices.

Candidate Specification

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will haveless than 12 months’ relevant experience(excluding placements) and have a bachelors / masters degree (obtainedno earlier than 2024) or expected to achieve one of the following degree disciplines:

• Civil Engineering
• Structural Engineering
• Geotechnical Engineering or similar

Please note candidates must be able to speak both fluent Spanish and English to be eligible for these opportunities.
