CRM, Customer Success & Marketing Automation Associate – Mautic Specialist

(Remote ‑ CET ± 4 h) This hybrid role combines hands-on Mautic expertise with multichannel campaigns and customer success coordination across clients, internal devs, and the CEO. You will be the technical marketing operator ensuring campaigns run smoothly and the face of day-to-day value delivery for our managed deliverability and profitability ESP offering.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Operations & Analytics
    • Manage the Mautic stack: installations, upgrades, plugins, security. Access servers via SSH to audit and tune cronjobs (segments, campaigns, webhooks, backups) and fix misconfigurations.
    • Run SQL queries on Amazon Athena (engagement_daily table) to validate KPIs and generate insights.
    • Monitor deliverability with tools like InboxTracker, Litmus, MXToolBox to maintain inbox placement > 95%.
    • Integrate Mautic with client websites, e-commerce, CDP, BI, and ad platforms via APIs and webhooks.
  2. Customer Success & Coordination
    • Act as the primary success contact for assigned accounts: schedule stand-ups, gather requirements, translate into tickets, track SLAs.
    • Coordinate hand-offs between dev teams, CEO, PMs, and clients; ensure clear expectations and timelines.
    • Present weekly performance reports and gather feedback for optimization.
  3. Project Prioritization & Growth
    • Co-own JIRA boards with the CEO; prioritize to maximize ROI.
    • Run experiments (subject-line tests, segment rollouts) and measure impact.
    • Prospect and scope new customers fitting the 10 MM+ emails/month profile.

Traits & Skills We Value

  • 2–4 years in CRM/Marketing Automation, 1+ year as primary Mautic owner.
  • Proficiency in SQL (Amazon Athena), Linux CLI (cron, grep, bash scripting).
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to marketers and executives.
  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a "definition of done" mindset.
  • Fast iterating, lean resourcefulness, mastery of AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot).
  • Bonus: Experience with Optimove, Bird.com, Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable; French language skills.

Success Milestones (30/60/90 days)

  1. 30 days: Set up a new sending domain, configure DNS, warm-up, SES credentials, Mautic, and cron; document checklist and coordinate with the client.
  2. 60 days: Fully manage Customer Success for an account, achieving consistent growth and resolving issues proactively.
  3. 90 days: Autonomously manage 3 clients end-to-end, with minimal CEO intervention, and source a new customer.
