Region: Norte de Cataluña. SBU MED Servicios. Vestas Mediterranean (MED) is an independent business unit of Vestas Wind Systems, responsible for the Mediterranean Basin markets and Latin America. Our mission is to accelerate the growth of wind energy in these regions through sales, project execution, and customer service.

The Service Department plays a crucial role in maintaining performance and reliability of customer wind parks, ensuring turbines operate at full capacity throughout their life cycle to maximise energy production and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technician – responsible for key service tasks, including:
• Supervise scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance of wind turbines.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and faults.
• Support commissioning of wind turbines when required.
• Complete and maintain operating documentation and reports.
• Supervise and report on KPIs (key performance indicators).
• Ensure compliance with Vestas safety and quality standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Higher vocational education (FP2) or engineering degree in electrical area.
• At least 1 year of experience in wind turbine maintenance.
• Ability to work at height and in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to read technical manuals in English (essential); verbal or written fluency will be valued.
• Residence within 25–30 km of Pujalt (Barcelona).
