The responsibilities include:
- Managing the contract and execution of construction projects from budget approval to handover.
- Representing KTL in client relations from project start to final certification, including warranty period.
- Reporting to the Project Director and overseeing the site manager.
- Planning, managing, and supervising construction to ensure quality, safety, profitability, and efficiency.
- Economic analysis, planning, and control from contracting to post-sale, including resource optimization.
- Knowledge of trades involved in large commercial projects, from layout to cleaning and delivery.
- Informing superiors about project progress from technical, economic, and timeline perspectives.
- Coordinating teams and resources, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers, overseeing contracts, and verifying quality and safety compliance.
- Managing project documentation and safety regulations, including inspections and audits.
Required knowledge includes:
- Degree in Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar; or Higher Level Vocational Training in Construction Management.
- PMP certification (desirable).
- At least 5 years of experience in similar roles.
- Experience in construction of commercial premises like stores, hotels, offices, and industrial warehouses.
Computer skills include:
- Proficiency in Presto, Project, AutoCAD 2D, and PDF editing.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, Revit–BIM, Dalux is valued.
- Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Explorer.
Language requirement: English B2.
Other requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience as a site manager for renovations of hotels or commercial spaces, from budgeting to delivery.
- Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers from start to finish.
- Leadership skills to manage teams and execute projects on time, within budget, with quality and safety.
- Availability for national travel (projects lasting 1-9 months).
