Pepper Group Spain is investing in the development of a loan servicing platform and a broader ecosystem with the goal of providing modular elements of the platform to internal and third-party customers on a SaaS basis.

About the role

The Front-End Developer is a key new addition to Project Prims, working with a dedicated team to build the platform for both web and mobile access.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, high-achieving individual with product and domain expertise, experienced in building high-quality enterprise-level applications and passionate about technology.

Location: Madrid

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining the front-end of the new software platform.
  • Designing a component-oriented, highly configurable solution for multiple geographic jurisdictions and asset types.
  • Ensuring all developments align with the overall system architecture and design strategy, maintaining consistent code standards.
  • Managing and maintaining the company codebase using industry best practices, with full audit and control capabilities.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize system developments and meet release schedules.
  • Working with UX/UI designers and test teams to implement automated testing within an agile framework.
  • Possessing 3+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer or similar roles, with strong knowledge of techniques and abstract thinking for designing component-oriented front ends in Angular.
  • Experience with libraries like Syncfusion, Primeng, Devexpress, or Kendo, and valuable experience with the Ionic framework.
  • Strong documentation skills, including technical and operational/process mapping.
  • Ability to work within Agile frameworks while remaining adaptable.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of mortgage and lending markets, including loan originations and servicing.
  • Strong English skills (Verbal & Written).
