  • Position: Bicycle Mechanic - Trek Bicycle Store Castelldefels

  • Reports to: Store Manager

  • Address: Avinguda de la Constitució, 46 – 08860 Castelldefels - Barcelona

  • Type of contract: Permanent - Part-time 20h

The mechanic’s responsibilities include, among others:

Carrying out work orders = 90%

  • Complete work orders from POS within deadlines
  • Perform services as scheduled, from basic to full tune-ups
  • On-demand services including cable and housing replacement, brake and gear adjustments/repairs, chain, cassette, handlebar grips replacement, wheel truing and repair, suspension inspection, transmission cleaning, disc brake and dropper post checks, and frame/component damage assessment
  • Communicate estimated completion times and modifications to customers

Other obligations = 10%

  • Perform onsite repairs as needed
  • Assist in sales when necessary
  • Interact with customers and provide quality service both in person and over the phone
  • Perform other activities assigned by the manager
