Responsibilities

  • Directional, control and follow‑up of maintenance tasks for facilities and auxiliary services.
  • Lead, organize and coordinate the maintenance team so that their contribution is efficient and profitable.
  • Propose measures to improve performance and keep the maintenance program up‑to‑date, ensuring safety and training of staff.
  • Develop preventive and repair maintenance programs, monitoring the correct operation of machines and facilities.
  • Maintain the maintenance program, ensuring compliance with required quality and budget.
  • Forecast spare parts and machinery needs, controlling warehouse inventory according to established maximum and minimum stocks.
  • Monitor third‑party maintenance work.
  • Actively participate in Occupational Health and Safety plans.
  • Prepare budgets for installations, machinery and preventive maintenance.
  • Prepare shift schedules and manage attendance, absences and hiring of staff.

Qualifications

  • Higher education in maintenance (Superior Technical Training Programme) or, desirably, a degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Desirable high level of English.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality sector is a plus.
  • Organizational and planning skills.
  • Teamwork ability.
  • Dynamic, responsible, and proactive attitude.
  • Time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
