Job Title: OPERADOR/A DE PROCESOS QUÍMICOS (CPO) - Contrato en Prácticas

Department: CALIDAD

Location: CABANILLAS DEL CAMPO

Purpose of the Role

Participate in the safe operation and maintenance of washers and treatment plant equipment to meet plant KPIs, ensuring product quality according to Ball standards and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Operate can manufacturing equipment to achieve plant KPI targets.
  • Drive quality improvement and preventive actions through continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across the plant.
  • Control process parameters during washing and drying, following quality procedures.
  • Monitor and adjust washing and drying parameters to meet specifications.
  • Follow safety, health, environmental, and quality procedures.
  • Report any faults or deficiencies detected.

Communication and Interactions

  • Within the Quality department.
  • With Production and Maintenance departments.
  • With Corporate Engineering department.

Basic Competencies and Knowledge

  • University degree in Chemical Sciences or similar.
  • Postgraduate training related to Quality is a plus.
  • High level of English proficiency.
  • Specific training in Quality management.
  • Knowledge of Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental standards.
  • Experience with quality tools: FMEA, SPC, Ishikawa, QFD, etc.
  • Strong statistical knowledge: control charts, histograms, Pareto diagrams, scatter diagrams, stratified sampling.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards: 9001, 14001, 45001, 22000/FSSC 22000.
  • High knowledge of Six Sigma (preferably Green or Black Belt).
  • Advanced user-level proficiency in Office tools.
  • Leadership, teamwork, social skills, decision-making, responsibility, independence, stress tolerance.
