Job Type & Location

Permanent employee, full-time. Remote work; base in Italy with periodic travel to Valencia, Spain. We value residence in Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia‑Romagna or Piedmont.

Job Summary

We are looking for talent to develop business in Italy within the Commercial Department, Business Division. The role focuses on consultative sales of R&D&I projects, technological services (analysis, testing, technical consulting), and technical training to companies.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and expanding the portfolio of new clients in the target area.
  • Commercial visits to clients and reporting.
  • Attend trade fairs, conferences, B2B meetings, and sectoral seminars, both national and international.
  • Maintain institutional relations with public administrations, associations, universities, laboratories, etc.
  • Support the organization of events (conferences, seminars, courses, etc.) in the target area.
  • Support marketing and communication departments in promoting the centre’s products within the target area.
  • Propose and implement measures to improve business development results, increase sales, and achieve set objectives.
  • Launch commercial campaigns to promote services where needed.
  • Gather and analyse trends in the target area and develop corresponding reports.
  • Follow up on issued quotations.
  • Analyse and report on competitors’ activities in the target area.
  • Keep manager and the organisation informed of any matters impacting business performance.
  • Address, report, and assist in the management of client complaints and claims.

Key Profile & Qualifications

  • High analytical capacity, organisational and planning skills, initiative, creativity, leadership, flexibility, adaptability to change, customer orientation, teamwork, and strong people‑orientation.
  • University degree (preferably scientific or technical).
  • Native‑level Italian, English (minimum B2), Spanish (minimum B1).
  • Category B driving licence.
  • Current residence in Italy (northern area) or willingness to relocate.
  • Availability to travel nationally and internationally.

Desirable Complementary Training

  • Master’s degree, specialised diploma or postgraduate studies in plastic materials, manufacturing processes, packaging, automotive, construction, recycling or waste management.
  • Training in marketing, sales or commercial management.
  • Previous professional experience in the plastics sector, consultancy, sales or technical fields such as quality, production, project management or R&D&I.

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in consultative sales of R&D&I projects, technological services, and technical training to companies.
  • Experience in the plastics sector and/or consultancy, sales or technical fields is highly valued.
