CRM, Customer Success & Marketing Automation Associate – Mautic Specialist

(Remote - CET ± 4 h)

This hybrid role combines hands-on Mautic expertise with multichannel campaign management and Customer Success coordination across clients, internal devs, and the CEO.

You will serve as the technical marketing operator ensuring campaigns run smoothly and as the face of daily value delivery for our managed deliverability and optimized profitability ESP offering.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Operations & Analytics
  2. Manage the Mautic stack – installations, upgrades, plugins, security.
  3. Access servers via SSH to audit & tune cronjobs (segments, campaigns, webhooks, backups) with Dev-OP.
  4. Identify & fix misconfigurations like duplicate triggers or missing workers.
  5. Query Amazon Athena (SQL) on our engagement_daily table to validate KPIs and generate insights.
  6. Monitor deliverability with tools like InboxTracker, Litmus & MXToolBox, maintaining inbox placement >95%.
  7. Integrate Mautic with client websites, e-commerce, CDP, BI & ad platforms via API/Webhooks.
  8. Customer Success & Coordination
  9. Act as primary success contact for assigned accounts: schedule stand-ups, gather requirements, translate into tickets, track SLAs.
  10. Coordinate hand-offs between dev team, CEO, PM, and clients; ensure clarity on expectations, blockers, and ETAs.
  11. Present weekly performance reports highlighting growth metrics and next steps.
  12. Collect feedback and convert into backlog items or optimization ideas.
  13. Project Prioritization & Growth
  14. Manage JIRA boards with the CEO; prioritize tasks to maximize ROI.
  15. Run mini-experiments (e.g., subject-line tests, segment roll-outs) and measure impact.
  16. Prospect & scope new customers fitting our profile (10 MM+ emails/month).

Skills & Traits We Value

  • 2–4 years CRM/Marketing Automation experience, with at least 1 year as primary Mautic owner.
  • Proficiency in SQL on Amazon Athena (window functions, partitions, cost control).
  • Linux CLI skills: cron, log grep, bash scripting.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts (DNS, DKIM) clearly to marketers and executives.
  • Strong project management skills: attention to detail, organized kanban, clear definition of done.
  • Kaizen mindset & frugality: iterate fast, deliver value with lean resources.
  • Mastery of AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot) for rapid drafting & queries.
  • Bonus skills: experience with Optimove, Bird.com, Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable; knowledge of French language.

Data: AWS S3, Athena, Tableau.

Infrastructure: AWS, Contabo, Airflow, Ubuntu 22, CloudWatch, Bitbucket/GitHub.

Tools: InboxTracker, Litmus, MXToolBox, HetrixTools, EmailOnAcid, ChatGPT, AI tools.

Success Milestones (30/60/90 Days)

  1. 30 Days: Configure a new sending domain for an existing client, including DNS, warm-up, SES credentials, Mautic settings, and documentation.
  2. 60 Days: Lead customer success for one client, achieving consistent growth in users, clicks, volume, and revenue; conduct weekly syncs, identify and resolve issues proactively.
  3. 90 Days: Manage three clients end-to-end with minimal CEO intervention; proactively source and scope one new customer.
