The Motion division of Exide Technologies develops high-quality traction batteries and chargers for electric vehicles. Our innovative technologies include lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries powering material handling vehicles and robotics. We offer efficient chargers like the Solition Powerbooster, supporting lithium-ion forklifts and renewable energy integration. Our digital solutions optimize battery management, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity. Our customer-centric approach fosters long-term relationships and high-quality products.

For our growing Motion division in Zaragoza, we are seeking an Electronic Maintenance Technician with the following characteristics:

  • Higher Education (FPII) or higher qualification.
  • Experience in maintenance within industrial companies.
  • Knowledge of programming in automation environments such as SIEMENS (SIMATIC and TIA portal), Mitsubishi, and Allen Bradley.
  • Experience in programming, configuring, and maintaining SCADA applications, industrial communication (Profibus, Profinet, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Siemens and Schneider Electric variable frequency drives.
  • Support other departments as needed to implement improvements and updates.
  • Manage and control program updates and modifications internally and externally.
  • Interpretation of electrical automation and control diagrams.
  • Experience in industrial environments.

We offer a position where you will develop the following functions:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and recommend maintenance types to keep equipment and instruments operational, maximizing quality, productivity, and safety standards.
  • Assemble, configure, and calibrate electronic and pneumatic instruments.
  • Maintain controllers (PLCs) and instruments, especially balances, densimeters, level sensors, and high-power industrial chargers.
  • Configure, integrate, debug, and improve PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial communication networks.
  • Troubleshoot SCADA, PLC, server, and field equipment incidents and identify other potential issues in the industrial scope.
  • Manage technical documentation of the area.
  • Interpret electrical automation and control diagrams.
  • Work in a GMAO (CMMS) environment.
  • Support other departments to implement improvements and updates.
  • Manage and control program updates and modifications, both internally and by external companies.
