Vestas Mediterranean (MED) is an independent business unit of Vestas Wind Systems, responsible for the markets of the Mediterranean Basin and Latin America. Our mission is to accelerate the growth of wind energy in these regions through sales, project execution, and customer service.
The Service Department plays a crucial role in maintaining the performance and reliability of our customers' wind farms. By ensuring that turbines operate at their full capacity throughout their lifecycle, we help maximize energy production and secure long-term customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for key service tasks, including:
• Overseeing the scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance of wind turbines.
• Identifying and fixing technical issues and breakdowns.
• Supporting the commissioning of wind turbines when required.
• Completing and maintaining operational documentation and reports.
• Monitoring and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensuring adherence to Vestas safety and quality standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Higher-grade vocational training (FP2) or engineering degree in the electrical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in wind turbine maintenance.
• Capable of working at heights and in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to read technical manuals in English is essential; verbal or written fluency.
• Residency within 25-30 km of Pujalt (Barcelona).
