We are Spain’s biggest Internet company with profits since 2003, helping people search for properties in Spain, Italy, and Portugal for over 20 years.

At idealista, we’re passionate about user experience and are looking for a Product Manager to join our team in Madrid.

You’ll work with a talented, multicultural team to define the strategy, design, and development of our products across Spain, Italy, and Portugal.

What we’re looking for

We seek a Product Manager who values clarity, structure, and impact. Someone who enjoys root cause analysis, stakeholder alignment, and driving progress with honesty and precision.

Must-haves:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities—clear, structured, and concise.
  • Experience managing business stakeholder expectations with empathy and transparency, delivering detailed and accurate communication and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to explore and analyze data from diverse sources (quantitative and qualitative), going beyond dashboards to uncover insights.
  • Understanding of cross-functional team dynamics and experience collaborating with research, design, engineering, analytics, marketing, legal, and business teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Ability to define product hypotheses using benchmarking or other techniques and test them through experiments.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager across various digital products.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams, recognizing the value of occasional in-person meetings at the office.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with outcome-based planning; valuing common sense over frameworks.
  • Experience in real estate platforms or marketplaces.
  • Ability to conduct user research as needed.
  • Proficiency with SQL or alternative analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in Italian, French, or Portuguese is a plus.

What you’ll do:

  • Define product strategy with stakeholders and maintain alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor market and competition to inform product decisions.
  • Analyze input from users and internal teams to identify opportunities.
  • Explore product data directly: create datasets and insights to support decisions.
  • Translate user and business needs into clear requirements with UX collaboration.
  • Work with developers to prioritize and maintain the backlog for timely delivery of features.
  • Monitor product performance and evaluate impact using data.
  • Communicate updates regularly to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers for consistency across products.
  • Lead go-to-market plans with Marketing for product updates or launches.
