Job Description

We are one of the world's largest independent electronic component distributors, operating with a hybrid distribution model. We have recently launched Nuvonix by Rebound, a new franchise distribution service setup, focusing on emerging brands and manufacturers with many opportunities for career growth. Our goal is to generate technical sales, leads, and revenue.

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer / Product Sales Engineer within our Semiconductor Franchised Division to support our global growth strategy. The role involves promoting franchise brands with an emphasis on technical capability, cost reduction, and supply chain risk management. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will engage with new and existing customers to secure high-value, design-led projects across our franchise distribution brands.

The responsibilities include working with a diverse range of customers, understanding their product design prospects, development roadmaps, and project opportunities. Collaborating with the commercial, technical, operations, and product teams, you will promote and sell semiconductor, discrete, passive, and other products from our line card.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive revenue growth for the franchise business within assigned regions.
  2. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers to meet business goals.
  3. Engage with customer engineering and component teams to specify, design, and generate demand for franchise products.
  4. Create new customer accounts through lead identification, planning sales calls, customer visits, and managing sales from design to order fulfillment.
  5. Understand business challenges and market trends to recommend suitable products and services.
  6. Deliver technical and commercial presentations to customers.
  7. Conduct regular business reviews with franchise partners and customers.
  8. Perform any other assigned duties.

Prerequisites and Skills

  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics.
  • Knowledge of electronic components technology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Strategic selling approach and business acumen.
  • Proactive, inquisitive, flexible, energetic, and eager to learn.
