Field Services Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Connect44 Design & Planning business unit, relocating to southern Germany while working remotely.

You will be responsible for conducting site surveys on mobile telecommunications infrastructures, ensuring accurate data collection, compliance with access and safety regulations, and coordinating with the office team to optimize projects.

This role is for professionals willing and able to relocate to Germany.

1. Ensure site access compliance according to established regulations and tools, preventing errors or incidents.
2. Adhere to and enforce safety regulations within telecommunications mobile infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance and client satisfaction.
3. Conduct comprehensive field surveys, collecting electrical technical data about site locations.
4. Clearly and systematically document information, providing the office team with complete and verifiable data.
5. Optimize operational efficiency, ensuring complete data collection on the first visit to minimize unnecessary travel.
6. Maintain proactive communication with support and office teams, seeking clarification when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Advanced German language proficiency (minimum B2), essential for communication with clients, suppliers, and local teams.
2. Experience in fieldwork within the telecommunications sector, particularly in mobile infrastructures.
3. Ability to accurately collect, document, and communicate technical information.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
5. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel on a weekly basis across southern Germany.
