Senior Salesforce Engineer

As our company continues to grow and scale, the use of Salesforce has become an integral part of our business operations. We rely on the platform to manage our growth, experience, and marketing processes, and to gain insights into our customer data. As such, the need for a Salesforce Engineer has become increasingly important to support the development and maintenance of our Salesforce environment. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our internal business teams, while ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving our Salesforce strategy forward and enabling our company to continue to grow and succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience developing Salesforce Apex Classes, Controllers, Triggers and Visualforce.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using data loader, web services, and middleware (e.g. Platform Events, Informatica, Tray.io)
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub, Jenkins, Salesforce CLI) for Salesforce
• Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud (Communities)
• Experience building Aura and/or Lightning Web Components
• Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification is a plus.
• Experience in C# programming would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

As our first Salesforce Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SaaS-based Application, Data, and Integration Engineering solutions that are critical to our internal business operations. In this role, you will evaluate existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and ensure that final solutions meet organizational needs.

You must possess deep Salesforce configuration and customization knowledge, integration experience, and sound judgment to effectively plan and deliver solutions. You will be responsible for designing, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining solutions on the Salesforce platform and other supporting technologies, while adhering to platform best practices.

Your responsibilities will include custom platform development using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components, integrations with back-office systems through middleware tools, and data migrations. You will work closely with internal business teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions that meet functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and realistic implementation schedules.

As part of the development team, you will collaborate with Software Engineersto build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST APIs and Events. You will work cross-functionally with other engineering teams such as product management and design, and integrate other systems into Salesforce or from Salesforce to other products. Additionally, you will debug high-priority bugs and implement a fix if necessary, which might affect integrations or the functionality of the user interface.
