The role is primarily responsible for monitoring and analyzing complex issues concerning the patterns and trends associated with financial crime, consumer protection, and other potential risks related to Western Union.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the Regional accounting functions in improving control measures, compiling, sorting, and verifying documentation.
  • Comply with business key performance indicators, assertively communicate, and properly handle escalations with peers, management, and stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for the account reconciliation process and retention of proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and international accounting standards.
  • Support training of processes related to the Business with other team members and actively participate in process improvement initiatives.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or be an advance student in Accounting or related field with 3Attention to detail and assertive communication.
  • Sense of urgency and problem-solving.
  • Three years of experience in bank conciliations, account analysis, or accounting clerical experience or equivalent in one or more of the following disciplines: month-end close, accruals, flux analysis, and external audit engagement.
  • NIIF and IFRS knowledge (desirable).
  • Graduated in accounting or soon-to-be graduate.
  • Intermediate/Advanced English level (exclusive).
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Oracle system knowledge (desirable).
