Successful candidates will join a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 9 00 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe.
We are looking for individuals with application management and implementation experience on SAP, to be part of ERP scrum team/s responsible for developing and maintaining SAP solutions and work with various product teams.
Join our team and work in an Agile environment with a primary focus on maintaining the application and optimizing evergreen support through development , automation and innovation , and integration.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
APIs design and implementation across platforms and solutions ,
D eliver complex, innovative, and complete solutions, driving them through all phases of the software development lifecycle following agile principles ,
Develop software solutions leveraging established Chevron technology standards. Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop new standards and reusable components ,
Work with different teams and IT partners in various locations providing software engineering services to internal customers, such as: Problem / requirements analysis ,
Use cases automation and incident resolution programming ,
Unit testing, Functional, integration and user acceptance testing support, including defect resolution ,
Technical documentation; Code quality review ,
Keep abreast with new technologies used by Chevron ( i.e. Fiori, SAP Cloud Platform, HANA, Azure)
Research new capabilities in problem-solving new challenges
Required Qualifications:
Solid years of proficiency and hands-on experience on SAP ABAP programming techniques with programming Function Modules, Object-Oriented ABAP, User Exits, Enhancements and Dialog Programming & Fiori Apps
Experience working with SAP for Hana (CDS view, BTP, CAP, RAP)
Quick learner on technical standards
Proven ability in analytical and problem-solving skills ,
Strong English communication skills, both oral and written ,
Strong customer focus and results-orientation .
Self-motivated and Team player
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge on other programming languages / integration platforms and operations ( i.e. Azure API Management, Azure DevOps, Ansible, .Net , C#, JavaScript, etc.)
Experience and/or knowledge in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/ SAFe ) Awareness on practices to identify and remediate ABAP code vulnerabilities.
