How you’ll make an impact:
As a Staff User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for designing new user experiences and creating design assets, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for our web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for delivering all aspects of amazing user experience design, working with product managers, engineers, account managers, and others to deliver world-class products for our customers and partners. Additionally, you will provide process leadership for other designers on the team, set project scope and requirements for medium-to high-complexity projects, and mentor new team members on design and process challenges.
Leading and directing UX design efforts for multiple agile teams and presenting UX designs to C-level leadership.
Reviewing teammates' designs and providing useful and actionable feedback based on knowledge of design best practices and familiarity with our design system.
Reviewing implementations with Engineering, logging bugs, and following issues through to resolution.
Proposing improvements to existing processes and systems and influencing decisions within the user experience design team.
Recognizing trade-offs and identifying impact/risks between alternative solutions.
Owning the overall user experience and information architecture for our leading marketplace platform.
Working with cross-functional product teams to ensure proper implementation of the product vision, focusing always on simplicity and ease of use.
Gaining a deep understanding of our users by gathering user feedback and evaluating usage and user analytics to identify new and existing opportunities for improvement.
What you’ll need:
5+ years of experience as a UX designer, creating intuitive experiences that delight customers.
Experience designing for enterprise (SaaS/Cloud applications and platforms).
Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to apply strategic thinking and business goals to designs, focusing on user feedback and understanding how visual design impacts interactive design.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to work closely and effectively with Leadership, Product Management, and Engineering teammates.
A strong desire to collaborate with colleagues and work on broader product strategy based on your knowledge of what’s going on “out there”.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Design, or a related field.
Strong portfolio showcasing an exceptional ux process and visual design skills.
Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and best practices.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or understanding of front-end frameworks, such as React or Angular is a plus.
