Director, Treasury

The Role: 

We are seeking a Director, Treasury to be based in the company's San Juan headquarters. We are entrepreneurial, fast- moving, and motivated by a desire to change the way that energy and electricity are delivered around the world. We are looking for a motivated, highly experienced individual with shared beliefs and passion to come and help drive the journey.

As the Director, Treasury, you will be responsible for the execution and management of the Company’s Treasury function and management of and reporting for federal funds used to stabilize the Generation assets. This person is detail driven and organized and delivers operational and technical expertise in a collaborative cross-functional environment.

What you will do:

• Oversee banking relationships for cash and treasury management services
• Manage the oversight and reporting of federal funds
• Develop and manage cash flow forecasting process, analysis, reporting and scorecard
• Assist with maintenance of asset management relationships, investments, and investment policy
• Improve and provide solutions to streamline existing operational processes to increase efficiencies
• Maintain controls, policies and procedures in support of Treasury functions and activities
• Partner with Tax, Legal, and Accounting teams to execute overall global cash planning
• Help to manage Treasury compliances in the area of SOX control and audit management
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Company

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting or MIS preferred
• 7-10+ years of experience in relevant or similar roles, including accounting or finance, preferably in treasury
• Experience working in treasury for a public company is a plus
• Experience working with Federally funded projects is preferred
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience using various treasury, banking and financial reporting systems
• Ability to adapt to varied and changing responsibilities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively 
• Highly driven, quick thinker and problem-solver; impeccable integrity and a strong personal work ethic.
• Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish)
