Within the European Hub in the Transformers Business Unit, we have a vast product portfolio consisting of Power, Distribution, Dry and Traction transformers, alongside components such as bushings and tap changers, and insulation, all used worldwide on conversion of electrical energy. For our Quality function, we are looking for a Quality Specialist, who will be hosted by our Marketing & Sales organization and accountable to thoroughly drive quality excellence within the function across Hub Europe, for one or more product lines.
Your responsibilities:
Together with the local Product Marketing Manager – PMM, you will develop and roll out a dedicated Quality Management System that ultimately envisages to improve Marketing & Sales processes and deliverables.
The QMS scope shall encapsulate multiple factories within the product line. The activities that shall be contained are described as follows, but they are not limited to:
Process harmonization and tailoring across the Hub, describing clearly process and integrating them into the daily work of the teams;
Identification of critical to Quality MS deliverables; Establish control mechanisms, such as checkpoints, along MS processes and secure adherence (evaluation of deliverables, process outputs and throughputs);
Establish improved synergies with Engineering and Project Management to enhance the Tender and Handover processes;
Enhance Tender process documentation, review templates with Sales team and keep information updated with last guidelines;
Install a dedicated review committee for high priority tenders;
Assess the Tender process for the I&C and TRES product lines and harmonize them;
Assure MS processes are fit for purpose (i.e. deliver the expected output) and secure they are adhered to by all units comprehended in that particular product line;
Promote internal functional assessments and support internal and external audits.
Your background:
Degree or Master degree either in Economics, Administration, Engineering or other correlated discipline.
Demonstrated strong drive and leadership in a position with high exposure to Marketing and Sales in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with process development and management in general.
An understanding of Sales process and tools (e.g. Salesforce), with particular focus on Tender, Bids, Pricing, etc. is required.
Solid knowledge of Quality methodologies (in special problem solving and root cause finding), processes development and management (e.g. BPM) are required.
Business Travel on a demand basis (< 20%)
Fluent in English is mandatory. Other languages are a plus
