What´s the role?

As a CX Business Analysis you will be responsible for defining business intelligence requirements for individual subject areas; developing conceptual data models, design, build, and test sets of reporting and analytic business intelligence programs. This role analyzes needs, designs, writes, and tests new reports, programs, and applications. In this role the programs that are developed or modified are typically linked to several other programs; (i.e., the output of one becomes the input for another). You’ll also apply discernment in devising program logic and selecting and adapting standard programming procedures; obtain advice when precedents are unclear or unavailable.

How can you add value?

  • Support Product Strategy Team to guarantee that the proper data is analyzed to understand customer behavior and movements from specific packages and provide statistical data for future package creation.
  • Coach & mentor Jr. Business Intelligence professional when necessary.
  • Design and build solutions to improve daily Product Strategy operations by gathering the correct customer information from CSG|Vantage database in order for the Product Strategy team to fully analyze trends and ensure product success. Have a complete understanding of services and service codes available to correctly gather information regarding customer movements.
  • Create automatic procedures for monthly and daily reports needed by transferring data from CSG to help with short term and long-range company planning.
  • Develop and implement web portals to ensure proper management of internal data, including storage (document repository), follow-up and notifications. These portals are a requirement in helping access necessary collected data to run our company operations. Portals should be customized, user-friendly, secure and may have to integrate information from various applications.
  • Be able to provide statistical data on internal areas achievement (ie. Sales) in order to come up with trends that may help us improve results.
  • Help automate a communication system with subs to update on new offers available.
  • Build a master customer database including all services and service | package codes, CPE, ARPU, per account for all customers in Metro and Isla that accounts for all changes within a customer account every single day.
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contribute team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Develop and maintain applications and databases by evaluating client needs; analyzing requirements; developing software systems.
  • Convert project specifications, into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into language processable by computer, applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages.
  • Serve as information support for other company areas by running ad-hoc and other periodical reports as requested.
  • Formulate plan outlining steps required to develop program, using structured analysis and design.
  • Demonstrate and ensure compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty Latin America's policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures.
  • Other functions may be assigned.

What do you need?

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degrees in a computer-related field, mathematics, or engineering in required.

Three to six years of related experience.

  • Skills in requirements gathering, designing, prototyping, problem solving, and supporting users.
  • Strive to maintain efficient working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

  • Skills in ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Windows, MySQL, and SQL Server.
  • Working understanding of complex programming languages, web tools, scripting languages, database design, application/systems integration development (API) and operating systems.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment required.
  • Fully bilingual both oral and written (Spanish/English).
