Job description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The job holder of this position is expected to maintain and troubleshoot assets with a focus on Instrumentation, Electrical, Fire Protection Active & Passive systems by common technical practice and manufacturers’ requirements to ensure right equipment’s reliability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Electrical, Instrumentation and Fire protection systems by planning, implementing regular/ preventive maintenance and supporting other systems in addition to analyzing breakdowns
  • Maintain equipments and Fire protection systems by following the standards and National Fire Protection Association procedures (NFPA)
  • Close coordination with the Firefighting service provider
  • Participate in root cause analysis of breakdowns and failures of Fire protection systems and equipment like dissolvers, mixers and automated filling machines
  • Performs routine inspections, complex maintenance, and repairs on process equipment, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), fire protection system (Active and Passive).
  • Manage and monitor HSE rules and regulations by following the requirements in the HSEQ system
  • complete necessary documentation pertaining to all work related to factory and fire protection systems
  • Actively follow the work permit system and close all safety-related gaps
  • Ensuring effective resource utilization of machineries to maximize the output
  • Maintaining and monitoring the inventory and stock availability through MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
  • Manage and update the computerized maintenance management system along with technical documents
  • Plan work orders and fault reports, to meet customer demand in accordance with equipment criticality
  • Coordinating contractors and consultants for meeting quality of works and target timelines
  • Implement potential automation to improve operational efficiencies.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has a good command in written and verbal English Language
  • Has a Diploma in maintenance preferably specialized in Instrumentation
  • Has a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance field, preferably paints industry
  • Has NFPA Knowledge / Experience on Fire protection system
  • Has a good command of using Microsoft office( excel, word, outlook)
  • Competent in using computer and oracle systems
