As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and winning new business opportunities. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be a key member of the business development team, contributing to the development and implementation of growth strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services.
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve better results.
- Researchaccounts, identify key players and generate interest.
- Present/ demo the company’s capabilities and other collateral.
- Setupmeetings to understand customer needs and business requirements
Requirements
TechnicalRequirements:
- Bachelor’sdegree in business, commerce, marketing or other relevant disciplines.
- 5-10 years’ experience in business development.
- Trackrecord of over-achieving quota.
- Strongphone presence.
- Proficientwith corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- Experienceworking with ZOHO or similar CRM.
- Abilityto multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
