Job Description

Job Purpose

• Preparing list of documents, deliverables, technical specification, application software & necessary graphics and basic engineering drawings like SLD, GA, IGA, FDS drawings etc.,
• Involving in pre-commissioning protocols, commissioning protocols, commissioning check lists, safety checklists, critical commissioning data, commissioning documents backup, software backup to be maintained precisely.
• Commissioning field instruments as per requirement.
• Preparing commissioning reports based on the project schedule and reporting it to Lead/Project Manager on daily basis.
• Travel to sites and to be stationed until the project is handed-over.

Job Responsibilities

Development, and Commissioning of projects in Industrial Automation, Control & Instrumentation with expertise in Application Development in PLC, HMI, and SCADA using Rockwell’s RS Logix 5000, Schneider’s Unity pro XL, Eco structure operator terminal, GE’s Proficy machine edition.

• Up-gradation of program in PLC as per process requirement.

• Configuration of OPC Kepserver for 3rd party integration.

• Configuration of PI Server.

• Design of Graphics, Alarms, and Trends in SCADA/HMI

• Selecting and installing different types of field instruments like Transmitters (Flow, Level, Pressure,

Temperature), Analysers (pH, ORP, Conductivity), Switches (Level, Differential Pressure), On/Off Valve,

• Knowledge of communication protocols like PROFIBUS, ETHERNET, PROFINET and MODBUS RTU

• Preparing Sequential Flow Chart (SFC), Interlock List, and IO List

• Design coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning of process plants

• Involved in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and functionality testing

• Interacting with the client for system study and collection of inputs

• Worked on documentation like preparing Operations & Maintenance Manual

• Demonstrated and conducted training on Control System for Client and Operators
