Material and Corrosion Engineer

Role :CORROSION & MATERIALS ENGINEER

Contract/Permanent : Permanent

Location : Abu Dhabi

Our Client has a requirement for a Corrosion & Materials Engineer, who will be required to work on a permanent contract basis in Abu Dhabi.

Role Purpose:To carry out different assigned tasks related to Material / Corrosion; selection of the most appropriate anticorrosion strategy, material selection activities.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of Upstream Offshore Industry
• Knowledge of the corrosion monitoring and material selection activities and related deliverables
• Knowledge of RBI Activities, previous exposure to all international related standards (NACE, ASME, API, ISO,DNV,NORSOK)
• Proven experience in Offshore EPC Projects
• Show updated knowledge for latest industry technologies related to anticorrosion
• Project lead position references are preferred

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:Minimum 14 years in a similar position in an EPC Company -Material Science and Engineering or Equivalent
