Job description
Hiring an Accountant for Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversees the daily accounting activities required to maintain the general ledger and other balances and accounts.
  2. Supervises petty cash payments and the replenishment of petty cash.
  3. Directs and reviews accounting entries such as cash reconciliations, income and expense transactions, fixed asset activities, payroll and other transactions.
  4. Ensures the fixed assets account is managed and maintained with strict adherence to the relevant procedures.
  5. Analyses business performance / results, providing feedback to Management.
  6. Plans, manages, coordinates, and implements the year-end closing processes and procedures for assigned accounting records.
  7. Ensures all journal entries are posted to the general ledger and that closing procedures are met.
  8. Assists in the development, review and improvement of accountancy and computer systems.
  9. Ensures the relevant books of accounts are compiled at the end of every financial period.
  10. Manages the preparation of financial statements and ad hoc financial reports on a periodic basis.
Key Requirements:
  1. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance.
  2. Three years of experience in accounting field.
  3. Good communication skills (verbal & written) in English.
  4. Knowledge in Accounting software.
  5. Good time management and prioritizing capabilities.
  6. Well-organized, detail-oriented.
