Job Summary:

Technical Writers are responsible for preparing instruction manuals and articles to simplify complex technical information in addition to developing, gathering, and circulating technical information among customers, designers, and manufacturers.

Responsibilities:

• Work with internal stakeholders to obtain in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirement
• Write and modify technical documents including reference manuals and product manuals
• Write and modify procedural documentation such as user guides and manuals
• Write case studies describing technical achievements to determine and ensure business benefit
• Generate and maintain high-quality technical documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for intended audience
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Create and maintain the information architecture
• Analyze programing design specifications for quality, usability, flow, etc.
• Research and collect usability feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers to improve the documentation
• Research products’ architecture and vendors’ best practices

Desired Skills:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Setting high quality standards and striving for continuous improvement and quality assurance
• Translates Business analytics into relevant and actionable insights to inform evidence-based Business practice

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering or any related field

• Cloud Architect (Preferred)

*Candidate should be either based in Abu Dhabi OR be willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi and provide an housing lease (Tawtheeq) in Abu Dhabi under their name, spouse or parent.
