Job Responsibilities:
– Supervise machine shop operations.
– Supervise, develop, and support operators.
– Plan, schedule, and review workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis.
– Supervise stock and use of raw materials.
– To work closely with the management team to ensure customers’ demands are met.
– To ensure all staff are trained to the correct standard.
– Operate within budgets set.
– Report on performance as and when required.
– Adhere to 5S standards in all areas.
– Oversee all aspects of the department including offline programming.
Job Requirements:
– Minimum 5 years of experience working on CNC machines.
– Have a thorough understanding of the machining industry.
– Experience using Haas machines and/or SolidCAM software will be an advantage.
