Manager, Advisory

Purpose of the Job:

The role involves provision of bespoke solutions to a wide spectrum of clients in the aviation value chain with projects related to lender and investor due diligence, cash flow and financial modelling, business planning and feasibility studies, valuations, and financing and transaction advisory. The objective of the role is to ensure our clients realise value through sound business decisions driven by high quality analysis and data. You would be expected to manage and oversee the execution of such projects, deliver against set deadlines, effectively collaborate and work within multifunctional project teams, and establish and maintain strong client relationships.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive the successful delivery of client engagements across a range of advisory services
• Provide oversight and review of project deliverables and where required, lead the production of such deliverables
• Ensure quality of project delivery to clients, both in context of ensuring compliance with company standards and client’s requirements
• Owning and developing executive client relationships by communicating with clients and other stakeholders on a day to day basis and presenting project outcomes/deliverables to a wide range of audiences
• Supporting senior management in origination of high value-added consulting opportunities and proposal efforts with the goal of converting these into active projects
• Be a thought leader by developing new insights into various aspects of the overall aviation industry with particular emphasis in the advisory domain
• Be able to develop deep analytical frameworks and tools to support the development and delivery of client deliverables
• Responsibility for providing on-going training and guidance to Associates/Analysts as well as providing insights and leverage for Senior Management

Accountabilities:

• Ensure that client projects are delivered in a timely and efficient manner upholding the company’s quality standards and client expectations
• Work towards agreed, measurable performance targets and standards
• Represent the company in a highly professional and competent manner and exercising reasonable commercial judgement
• Maintain strict company and client confidentiality at all times
• Contribute to business development initiatives and campaigns
• Leverage existing client relationships and engagements to find additional project opportunities or project scope extensions
• Travel as required from time to time on client site for projects or for business development initiatives (e.g. trade shows)

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

• Ability to develop professional advisory reports and presentations, incorporating the analysis of data and ability to translate that data and analysis into clear client recommendations
• Financial Modelling and Financial Statement Analysis & Reporting
• Fundamental understanding of financial statements and the ability to generate forward-looking financial statements and related investment KPIs based on existing or new metrics
• Understanding of key commercial aviation performance metrics and the ability to correlate them with operating efficiencies of an airline or aviation related business
• Comprehensive understanding of key commercial and financial aspects fundamental to the aviation industry
• Natural ability to network and build relationships

• Strong client & supplier relationship skills
• Well-developed customer focused and interpersonal skills
• Advanced analytical and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience in working in a fast-paced growing business

• Excellent IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Commercial acumen and ability to identify client opportunity to pitch ACC Aviation’s consulting services
• Able to prioritise work, while having a flexible approach within a team environment
