Title:

Electrical Engineer - UAE National

KBR has been awarded a Master Services to perform a number of projects of covering the following project phases: Conceptual studies / Pre-FEED / FEED and EPC Management scopes for a Giant Onshore Oilfield

Our Project Delivery Team along with key COMPANY personnel will be carrying out Engineering Studies required for Facilities and Infrastructure that are crucial to sustain or grow production.

The scope of work is multi-project with, typically, numerous projects proceeding in parallel.

The reservoir fluids are transitioning to higher water production volumes that will need to be appropriately handled. It is anticipated that increased water injection and produced water management will be needed to support the field development.

The power requirements are increasing to support both the increasing number of ESPs (required for high water cut wells) and Produced Water Re-Injection (PWRI) program.

Integration of new ‘state of the art’ facilities with the existing old facilities is one of the most challenging aspects for engineering considering:

  • Safe integration

  • Limitations of the Brownfield facilities

  • Availability of existing documentation

  • Existing Operating practices

  • Ensuring minimal loss of production i.e. shutdowns in the process.

Job Requirements:

The incumbent must be a UAE national.

Must have strong experience in Pre-FEED / FEED in O&G Projects Internationally (specifically Middle East).

Must have Oil and Gas Project experience.

Requires a Bachelors Degree - Electrical Engineering with at least 07-12 years of experience in the O&G Industry (preferably Onshore Oilfield Projects).

Familiar with discipline based, industry accepted concepts, practices, and procedures.

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of complicated tasks while effectively managing the interfaces.

Demonstrates breadth in applying skills to different project phases and working knowledge / experience in other related disciplines.

Resolves highly complex technical issues and provides technical assurance in areas of discipline expertise. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
